  • Thinking About Valued Roles, explores the power of valued roles in bringing about the good things in life for people with a disability and other people who may experience marginalisation. Our authors weave thoughtful insights through real stories where individuals with disabilities a have taken up many valued roles in their communities including student, award winner, neighbour and employee. We learn about what constitutes a valued role, why valued roles are important and HOW to craft them around a person’s unique identity.
