Periodical 15 - Life After School

  • For many of us life after school was a time of new and expanding horizons, an opportunity to ‘find ourselves’ - to find out who we connect with and to explore our beliefs and interests. This issue of Thinking About Life after School, invites us to consider more deeply and broadly our responses and ways of supporting young people living with a disability through this important life transition. Authors explore how we can ensure people with a disability also have the opportunity to experience life changing moments, find and create their own life pathways in order to flourish and live life as a community member and citizen to the fullest potential. Authors include Kathie Snow, Peter Symonds, Brenda Schurmann, Martin, Darcy and Mary Elks and Michael Kendrick.
