What is this series about?
We all make decisions, every day. Decision-making is not just about the "big" things, it starts with the "small" things. Learning to make small decisions builds the foundation for a more self-determined life.
Often, decisions are made for people with intellectual disability. However, practicing on low-stake, daily decisions prepares an individual for bigger decisions, life transitions and can assist a person to build their confidence to say "no" to harm or exploitation.
For a family or supporter, this can be deeply personal. It might be about:
