Owen Hourigan

Owen has worked for Belonging Matters since 2011 in resource production, encompassing video production, documentaries, web design, desktop publishing, social media, and podcasting.

Owen's major focus has been producing videos for Talks That Matter, having worked on Belonging Matter's video collection since it's inception.  Talks That Matter currently includes over 250 videos focusing on a better life for people with disabilities and their families.

Owen strives to tell the stories of people with disability and their families to educate others that the good life, a home, a mainstream job, and a place to belong in the community is attainable for people with intellectual disability.

Owen is the Founding Director of In Any Weather Productions, has produced 5 season's of Channel 31's Footy Talk Back, and has a BA Computing and Information Systems with Honours (Monash).  His passions include reading, rollerblading, lawn bowls, AFL, family and more recently, travel adventures.
