Harvey Munday
Harvey has had a lifelong desire for social justice and equal rights for marginalised and devalued groups. Over the past decade, he has actively directed this passion into advocacy, leadership, and hands-on work in the disability sector.

His work is grounded in Social Role Valorisation (SRV) and focuses on building the capacity of individuals, families, and members of the broader community to move beyond traditional service models.

He champions approaches like customised employment, ensuring that people with disabilities can secure real jobs and valued social roles, rather than tokenistic participation.

Harvey believes that true belonging means more than just presence. He is committed to ensuring that people with disabilities take their rightful place as valued, actively contributing members of society, and have full access to their rights.

Harvey is looking forward to furthering this commitment as a Belonging Matters board member.
