Carmine Laghi

Carmine has worked with people with disabilities and their families for over 30 years.

Training originally as a special education teacher and obtaining a Masters of Education in Special Education, Carmine went on to work in the redesign of disability services, focusing on crafting individual lives that centre on supporting people with intellectual disabilities to build an identity as valued members of their local communities.

His work encompasses roles in management, service development, training and education, all of which are strongly underpinned by the principles of Social Role Valorisation.
