Brenton Ponza

Brenton joined the Belonging Matters' Advisory Council in 2025 and contributed to the project "A Guide for Support Workers".  He is passionate about creating fair and accessible communities for people with disabilities and shares his lived experiences to promote change.

Brenton is a dedicated advocate for inclusion, working as a Communication Education Officer at AIR (Ability Inclusive Resources), a Gymnastics Assistance Coach, Disability Presenter and a member of Cerebral Palsy Australia.

​

Brenton was named Boroondara Citizen of the Year 2024 and received the Victorian Volunteer Impact Award in 2025.

​

Brenton has various volunteer roles.  In his spare time, Brenton likes going to the gym, is a proud Western Bulldogs supporter and car enthusiast.
