  • In this edtion authors discuss the importance of belonging and social inclusion for people with a disability. Tim Costello in his article states "Community is a place where we can sort out who we are and get perpective... Its a natural state across all cultures" (Tim Costello, p16). Authors also highlight how professionals and services can stand in the way. "As amazing as this may seem, in her 22 years Joscelyn has only ever been offered segregated disability specific options" (Meg Sweeny, p4).
