    Welcome Home

    "A COMMUNITY STRENGTHENED BY
    THE INCLUSION OF ALL"

Belonging Matters aims to inspire people with a disability, their families and allies to enable people with a disability to have opportunities and pathways typical of other citizens in the community - lives that are personally fulfilling, unique, socially inclusive and empowering.

    Featured Story

We invited 19 Australians to share their lives of connnection, belonging and contribution. Each story demonstrates how people with a disability contribute to Australian community and make it a rich and diverse society.

19 Stories features a range of videos and articles which show people moving out of home, working with the police, joining a band, hosting a radio show and so much more. It also draws important themes from the stories to progress the inclusion of people with a disability. We hope there is something for everyone, including people with a disability, families and other supporters, service providers, researchers, students, teachers, policymakers, and others.
